Thanksgiving...Be Thankful

I like to think that I am thankful all year round, but something about the holidays really brings to light how lucky I am. I have so much to be thankful for that sometime I almost feel guilty about being so blessed.

We recently had a cold spell here is Western Washington, and I couldn't help being VERY thankful for a warm place to sleep at night. Not everyone has that. I can't imagine sleeping on the streets in such weather. Demian and I ran into a woman with her young daughter trying to come up with enough money to by a $5 pizza. I am so thankful that not only do I have a job that I love, but that I am able to never worry about how I am going to feed my child.

Most importantly I am thankful for my family and friends. I couldn't ask for more. I am married to my best friend, I get to be a mom to the coolest kid around, and we are surrounded by the most amazing friends and family anyone could want.
We spend our day of giving thanks with family in Yelm. Here are a few photos from our day.
