Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, so I didn't miss this opportunity to dress Atticus up in a costume, simply for my own amusement. Demian and I found him a really cute lion costume, that I think he actually didn't mind wearing. We had our row of jack-o-lanterns out and Halloween lights up, a bowl of candy waiting and all we needed was the trick-or-treaters. I have never lived in a house where kids would come on Halloween. It was either to busy of a street, or too remote. I figured Brier would be a safe haven for all the little ones, but I guess I was wrong. We got about 10 kids the entire night, and some of them I missed. Although the lack of little ghost and goblins was a bummer, seeing Atticus in his little lion suit was fun. I can't wait for future Halloweens when he really can get into it, and I have an excuse to dress up again!
