This is the time of year that we are to reflect on all the thing we are thankful for. It's good to do that. This has been a tough year for my family, but we all have a lot to be thankful for.
We spent Thanksgiving in Marysville this year, and although there were some important people missing we all managed to have a pretty good time. There was an abundance of great food, some amazing signature drinks, and more desserts than we knew what to do with. There was also a lot of laughter. That is something we've always been really good at.
There are a few traditions that are always a part of our Thanksgiving night. We have certain dishes that are always there, and there is always a late night game of 99. This year we started something new, that I hope will become a tradition. Along with the food, Alicia, Nicole and I all brought a signature drink. It made the night even more festive.

I know this year, I spent some time thinking about how thankful I am for the special people in my life. They really are what brings me happiness. I am thankful for the ones I see often, and the ones I see rarely and the ones I don't get to see at all anymore.
