December was full of some of our favorite traditions, including cookie night with the girls. Cookie night has actually become cookie day, and this year I failed to take one picture. I can report, it was just as fun as always. I never seem to get enough time with Jess and Paula, so Cookie night is always special to me.
Atticus was much more into the Christmas spirit this year. He helped me pick out some of the gifts, and was my gift wrapping helper. He was also excited for the first time to meet Santa. However, something was lost in translation and he thought he was going to get this gifts instantly. He climbed up on Santa's lap, told him he wanted a computer and Star Wars Leggo's and then met me at the register with a sad look on his face. "Where are my presents". I guess he didn't "get" that you have to wait until Christmas morning.
I really enjoyed our time with friends and family this year, and as always reminded how lucky we are to have such amazing people to share the holidays with.
