"You got some candy for me?"

Atticus was ready for Halloween weeks before the 31st. He kept asking us "Is it Halloween time yet?". You can imagine how excited he was when the big day actually arrived.
He picked his costume out a long time ago while digging through a costume bag at Tutu's. As soon as he tried it on it was set, he was going to be a pumpkin. Little did we know how meaningful this costume would be.

Ready to get some candy.
Although Atticus wanted Demian to be Hannibal Lecter, and me a ketchup bottle, we settled on Viking and Witch instead.

What a crew!
The Ortman's and Grandpa and Tutu came along for the fun this year. I love this new tradition. Sweet little Evangeline made such a cute cheerleader.

A little back story about the costumes is that Grandma Hatley made them. I actuall wore the pumpkin one when I was obout 6, and the witch one at some point. The Halloween dress that Carol is wearing in the picture, was made by Grandma too. It was so amazing that Atticus picked his costume out, even before Grammy was sick. She knew he was wearing it this year, and I think she got a big kick out of it.

It might be a battle over who was the cutest pumpkin. Mama or Atti.
