Spring means a lot of things at the Landerholm house. It means, finally some play time outside, it means, March Madness, and it means, getting the yard ready for summer.
Since moving to this house, our yard has been a work in progress. Demian has spent countless hours perfecting it. He has tinkered with the soil so it will drain better. He's moved plants around to find just the right spot that helps them grow. He's put up a green house to compensate for the lack of sunlight in our back yard. This is the year, finally, I think it has all come together.

Just the other day, I went outside, and almost overnight, these sweet little daffodils were in full bloom. It was like a wonderful reminder, that winter is over, and spring is here. One of the things I love most about the spring, is that's it's like a little glimpse into summer. We clean off the BBQ in preparation for weekly use, we plant the flowers we'll enjoy all summer, and the veggies we will be eating.
Demian just finished this beautiful patio in the corner of the yard. It's going to look amazing once everything is in full bloom. I can't wait to relax in the sun and enjoy it.
