Last weekend we headed East of the Cascades in search of sunshine. There really has been nothing but rain rain rain in these parts and I for one was sick of it. We were joined my Marybeth (Beezy) and Luke. Both of them being from California they were even more fed up with our lack of sun.
When in need, head to Entiat. It's a little early for the totally predictable hot weather that later in the summer offers, but we figured if it is going to rain, we would rather watch it rain at the lake, then at home. We lucked out however and got one mostly sunny day, and one amazing day. We couldn't ask for more than that for the first weekend in June. We have a few more trip over there planned for this summer and I can't wait. I know Atticus is going to have a lot of fun throwing sticks and rocks in the water, and running through the sprinklers.
