I am so happy to announce that on February 19, 2010 Evangeline Ortman was born. I feel like I have been waiting forever for her to get here and it finally happened. Evangeline is the daughter of my friend Lillianna. I am sure if you are reading this blog, you must know me, and if you know me, you have more than likely met Lillianna. I could dedicate and entire blog to the history of our friendship, but for today I will just give the short version.
Lillianna and I met in the first grade and have been friends even since. She is basically like the sister I never had, and everyone in my family considers her family too. I should also mention that we are opposite in almost every way. We both agree on that and find it hilarious that we can have a friendship that has spanned decades, but be so different.
We now have one thing in common, we are both moms. I am so looking forward to all the experiences we can share together as parents. It really makes me smile to think that our children are so close in age, and will get to grow up together.
I have been dying to blog about this adorable baby, but wanted to wait until Lillianna had the opportunity to share her pictures first. I can tell you a few things about this sweet little girl. She is very alert, she has very girly features, and the longest, skinniest toes I have ever seen. Oh, and I am pretty sure she likes me already.
