My new Obsession

No, it's not the crackberry, but I can use it on my crackberry. It's a website called Pandora. It's a free online radio station, and it's super cool. It's not streaming from an actual radio station. It's more of build your own station. You start out by entering the name of an artist you like. The site then creates a station around that artist, with other similar artists. When a song comes up, you give it a thumbs up or down. If you don't like it, Pandora will never play it again. If you really like a song, there is an option to automatically download it to i-tunes. That part might be dangerous. There are a ton of other features including creating a station for a friend. I guess that's 2009's version of what we called in my day "making a mixed tape". The best feature is that there is an App for the Blackberry, so I can access my station on my phone and listen to it anywhere. I am hoping that Pandora can also expose me to new artist or artists just new to me. Anyway, I thought I would share something fun. Check it out.
