10 Months Old & Science Center

Saturday was Atticus's 10 month birthday and we celebrated by going to the Pacific Science Center with MB. Most of the exhibits were geared towards older kids, but Atticus still had fun. He loves looking around at new sights, and there was a lot for him to absorb. His favorite parts (besides lunch) were the toddler area and the Butterfly Exhibit.

The toddler area was just his style. It was only for little kids, so no fears of getting trampled on. It was full of fun things for him to crawl around on. Plus, there was a room just for him to make noise in. The entire room was full of different objects for him to beat on that made noise. Drums, pipes, metal bowls. He really like it.
Check out my mad drumming skills.
I'm not 100% sure he knew what to think of the Butterfly Exhibit, although it was by far my favorite. It was an entire room, heated to 85 degrees full of tropical plants and butterflies. It totally reminded me of Hawaii. There were so many butterflies that they would fly all around your head, and sometimes land on people. Every time one came our way, Atticus would seem so surprised.

Here we are sitting in the over sized chair.

Next stop the zoo, just as soon as it stops SNOWING!?!
