It's been a busy holiday season already. Last week we headed out to visit Santa. I wasn't worried that Atticus would have a meltdown, since he's never really had a fear of strangers. This big guy with a fake beard was no exception. However despite all my efforts I couldn't conjure up a smile to save my life. I guess I should just be thankful he didn't rip poor Santa's beard off.
We also ventured out as a family to the Brier Tree Lighting. There was a "parade" and I use that term very loosely. Let's just say it involved a pirate that went by the name of "captain ugly". I have no clue what that had to do with Christmas. We stayed long enough to get some pictures and headed back home.
Last Saturday we were off to the Zaremba's for a holiday party. It was fun to catch up with friends, and let Atticus see his girlfriend McKenzie. I don't think he knows he is her girlfriend, but she sure does. She has a lot of love to give him.
