Cookie Fest

I have officially updated cookie night, to cookie fest based on the amount of cookies that were produced this year. Can you say sugar high? Ever year, right around Christmas time, Jess, Paula and I head up to Marysville to make Christmas cookies with Carol. This year brought the amount of cookies to a new obscene amount. We got a little smarter this year and started baking around 3pm. In years past it was after work, and we would be baking until after midnight. This year seemed extra special with the snow fall. All the lit trees were blanketed with snow, and it looked magical. We also had a little extra help this year. Atticus entertained himself with banging and chewing on the plastic measuring cups. Here is a list of the cookies we whipped up this year: Sugar Cookies with frosting, Krumkake, White Chocolate Mac. Nut, Spritz with Cherries, Blueberry Cheesecake Bars, Pumpkin Bars, Oatmeal with Cranberry, Chocolate Sugar Cookies, and Chocolate Dipped Candy Coated Pretzels. I may have missed a few, but you get the idea. I look forward to this tradition every year. Anyone with a sweet tooth, give me a call.
