Okay, so maybe I am just pretending to be 26. Math is hard. I sent out a little facebook invite for a family bbq for my birthday asking everyone to come help me celebrate my 26th birthday. I thought I was being cute and funny, but I guess everyone just thought it was a typo. I had in mind what I wanted to do for my birthday and that was to go crabbing and to have a family bbq.
I got my wish. The day before my birthday my dad and Demian headed out to the Sound to start catching some crab. I worked a half day, and met them out there. I've been telling Demian how awesome non commercial crabbing is for years now, and we've just never been. Finally we made it happen. I have to say, I think he is hooked. It's one of the things I loved to do most as a kid. You get to be out on the water, and then go home and eat fresh crab. Win, Win.

The other thing I wanted to do is have a casual family bbq to eat all the crab and just hang out with some of my favorite people. It was a great evening, and a reminder that I am so luck to have such a wonderful family.
