We finally put those passes to use last week. This was both an adventure and a learning experience. What I learned is that our kids will have fun no matter what. While the skating part was a bit challenging for them, they had a blast just running around together. I also learned that while Atticus is a little too young to skate, maybe I am a little too old. I think Colleen and I both agreed that the next time we try skating, it will be when the kids are old enough to be thrown into the rink solo.
It was all a lot of fun though. It's great to try new things with Atticus. To see his face when he experiences something for the first time. What he remembered most about it, was the fun lights that were all over the rink.
All laced up and ready to roll.
Looking so big
I know it's blurry. It's hard to take a good pic while skating backwards
Checkin' it all out
This is blurry too. But I had to add it.

Ha! You were a little kinder about the skating adventure with 3 & 4 year olds than I will be when I get my post done. Did you get the picture I sent over of you and Atti? It's a good one :)
Can't believe you strapped yourself into a pair of skates Gina! You're a great mama!
