I can honestly say I made the most of my four day weekend. It was one of the best weekends I've had in a while, and a lot of it is due to the beautiful weather. Here is a re-cap of my amazing weekend.
Friday: Atticus and I spend most of the day outside. We met Melissa, Sam and Jessica at the park for a few hours. Then it was off to our friend Eileen's for a BBQ. The view from her deck was amazing. I totally regret not bringing the camera. I guess the downside to the monster camera is that sometimes I am reluctant to haul it around. Eileen lives in Sandpoint, and has a view of Lake Washington and the Cascades. I could sit out there all day.
Saturday: Atticus and I went to meet, Spuz. Spuz, is Jess' new pup and he is such a cutie. He loves to give smoochies and is so playful. Oh, and he looks like a little black Ewok. I love him already.
Sunday: Up to Marysville. Even though my dad's birthday is today, July 5th, we decided to celebrate early. Their yard is so perfect for Atticus to just run wild, and he loves playing with Grandpa and Tutu. It only took him about two minutes to get dirty in Grandpa's garden. Lucky for Grandpa he had a helper when it came to blowing out candles and opening gifts.

Monday: Another beautiful day. I think we appreciate it more because it's been so long since we have had nice weather. The Zaremba's had their annual 4th of July bash, and Atticus and I headed over a little early and the kids had a blast playing in the sprinklers and kiddie pool. Sitting outside with friends, sipping a cold beer and watching the kids play. That's the good life. We didn't stay for the big fireworks show. Our dogs are not a fan of the 4th, and someone needs to be home with them. We headed back home, and Aunt Alicia and Uncle
Jake came by to watch the neighborhood light up with us. Atticus even got to stay up super late.
