That being said, I was struggling to come up with a New Year's post. We didn't really do anything for the holiday. Demian, Miles and I fired up the wii (I am the 2010 bowling champ) and then played some cards. Nothing really blog worthy. So, I though I would take you blog readers on a trip down memory lane with me. I was thinking about some of the more memorable NYE's I have experienced. I have had some great ones. For your viewing pleasure I dug up some old pictures of just a few of the ways I spent ringing in the new year.
This was one of the best! 1998. It was the first time in 67 years that the Cougs made it to the Rose Bowl, and it happened to be while I was a student there. A bunch of us got tickets and chartered a bus to Cali for the big game. Although we didn't get a win, I met some new friends, and I have some great memories. It was a long ride down there, and an even longer ride back. "And that's another DEAD SOLDIER"
Sarah and I enjoying the game, and sunshine in January!
Y2K
This was the biggie. Y2K. The one everyone was all excited about. I threw a big bash at Carol and Dad's house in Marysville. We made it formal, and everyone dressed up. I can't say that I remember all of the night, but I know I had a lot of fun with all my friends.
I can't believe it's been 11 Years.Themed New Year's Eve Wedding

2006
My friend Christy has a festive personality and her wedding was no different. It was on New Years Eve, and it was a masquerade ball theme. The bride was beautiful and so was the wedding. A great way to start a new year, by starting a new life as husband and wife.
These are just a few of the memorable New Year's Eves I've had, and I look forward to many more to come. Happy 2011 everyone!

I forgot we were in California for New Years Eve. That was fun, really fun and I totally forgot that phrase- I think I remember Botnick and those guys yelling that in the back of the bus over and over and over and.... I have not watched a football game since leaving WSU. Thanks to Carrie for setting that whole thing up.
