AVL version 1.5

Holy cow, Atticus is a year and a half old. Honestly I feel like just yesterday I was planning his big first birthday party. Where did half a year go? I guess we spent most of that time enjoying one of the most beautiful Washington summers I can remember. Trips to the beach, the zoo, road trip to Eastern Wa. and Idaho, family reunions, family birthdays. Time flies when you are having fun. It's been a pretty great fall so far too, and I am getting really excited the holidays this year.

Atticus continues to amaze me every day with something new he has learned. I think he picks up a new word a day, and has finally moved on from his previous two favorites which here "Marley" and "Ball". Just the other day we were getting ready to meet Colleen and McKenzie at the MLT indoor playground and I kept telling him "we are going to go play with McKenzie". Well he just couldn't wait for me to get my shoes on and he started pounding on the front door yelling "baby play...baby play PLEASE..Kiki...Kiki! I think Kiki was short for McKenzie.

He has been mastering eating with a fork, and wants no help from me, and brushing his own teeth (loves it) with a little help from me. He has developed a great since of humor and has the best laugh ever. He loves funny noises like sneezes and hiccups. That will really get him rollin'. He loves his dogs, and can now say all their names, and one of his favorite things to do is to get a handful of their dog food and they hand feed them. He calls their food "cookies". And yes he himself has eaten a "cookie" or two.

I can't wait to see how much he grows and changes in the next 6 months!

He now knows how to take off his pants. He felt this shirt looked better pants-less.
