They came from far and wide.

We were all lucky to have some very special guest come from great distances to visit us recently and to meet Mr. Atticus. The first was Aunt Jess, who gets the award for coming the farthest. She recently moved to the LA area and came back to Seattle to meet Atticus, and to visit friends. The two bonded instantly, with Atticus taking several naps on Jess's chest rendering her immobile. I can't wait for the next visit, and for her to see how much he has grown. We look forward to many visits to Cali. to see her and John.

Right after Jess left my mom came for a visit. Her dream of being a grandma has come true, and she couldn't wait to finally get to hold her grandson. She was a big help to us, providing an extra set of hands which allowed us to get some things done, and to actually leave the house. Imagine that. Atticus and Grandma Letha spent many hours cuddling, giving me time to do some things around the house and to take really long showers. What a treat! We'll be making our way to visit her and Grandpa Roger in Northern Idaho sometime this summer.
