Look out Lockwood Elementary, there is a new kid on campus! We are about 10 days into full day Kindergarten and Atticus is loving it. There really is no comparing pre-K to the real deal. He goes EVERY DAY, ALL DAY. The first day I am sure I was way more nervous than Atticus. In the weeks leading up to the first day, there was a lot of talk about Kindergarten. In the end, Atticus responded with "Mom, it's just Kindergarten". That's been his outlook the whole time. Not scared or nervous, and not pumped up either. Just ready to start. So far, he's made friends, gone to PE, Music, and Library. I am so proud of him, and look forward to all the new adventures Kindergarten brings.
