I bet you didn't know that Brier, WA is the home to one of the most beautiful volcano's ever.
Atticus has had a growing interest in volcano's and lava for a while and we was lucky enough to get his own volcano kit for Christmas. Of course he wanted to make it instantly.
There are several parts to making your own volcano.
| Step 1- Smile for your mom who must document everything. |
| Step-2 Mix plaster of paris. (this was fun) |
Step #3-4. Pour plaster into mold and wait. This part was super boring. It took all night to set, and that is a really really long time to wait.

| Step #5 Paint volcano. Who knew mountains could come in so many colors. | |
Step #6. More waiting. Now we had to wait for the paint to dry. At least we could admire it.
| Step #7- Now the fun part. Watch her blow. |
I myself was expecting a more violent eruption, but Atticus was thrilled, and that was the point. Next stop, a real volcano in Hawaii in less that a week. Can't wait.
