Star Wars...In Seattle

If you read my blog, you know that Atticus has an obsession with Star Wars. He loves the movies, Star Wars toys, pretending to be Star Wars characters, and talking about Star Wars. When we heard that the Pacific Science Center was having a Star Wars exhibit, we knew we had to go. Sunday we were off to the Science Center to see all his favorites. As soon as we got there he was pointing out all the characters he knew. "There's Darth Vader, There's OH-DA aka Yoda." Some of the displays were replica's and some were actual props from the movies. There was a lot of info about how how the technology was developed, and how it relates to current technology, like robots and prosthetics. Atti's favorite part was the hands on stuff. He got to mess around with building robots and listening to the descriptions of the displays on a tiny ear piece. On our way out, we picked up this Darth Vader costume. He was instantly in love. Now he won't have to hold his fireman hat over his face to be Vader.

He insisted on wearing this all the way home.

We were barely out of the gift shop before he had to put this on. Atticus loves R2D2 and PPP-OH aka C3Po

Chewy is WAY bigger in person.

I would love to have a full Storm Trooper costume.

I thought the Sand People were the most realistic looking.

@ Kim, I would totally recommend it for anyone. It wasn't as big as I though, but there was a lot of cool info on how George Lucas came up with the characters and special effects. It was nerd fest, and I loved it.
